Audio/video motorization solves a problem in either design or space, sometimes both. It allows you to conceal equipment when not in use, and maintain the design integrity of the room. The TV or projector need not be the constant focal point. When you wish to use the equipment, it can magically appear. When not in use, it is concealed in furniture or in the ceiling. Motorization also creates dual utilization of space and facilitates multiple viewing areas. In the popular end-of-bed use, a motorized swivel feature may be added that will allow TV viewing from bed, or from the seating area across the room.
